OAPI to join the Madrid Protocol

The Madrid Protocol (which governs the International Trade Mark System) enters into force in OAPI on 5 March 2015.

OAPI is the African Intellectual Property Organizationis a regional Intellectual Property Office for 17 member states: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Gabon, Guinea, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Guinea Bissau, Senegal and Togo.
